The $2,800 system uses roughly 25% more water for ten years. That gap pays for the install difference twice over.
We're not going to pretend the upfront number doesn't matter. It does. But the system that runs 25% longer per zone, every day, for a decade, that's the one that costs more. We'd rather quote the number that's honest over the life of the system than the one that looks good on paper and costs you in August.
